Situation & Solution:
In the U.S. there is 328 million people and 375 million firearms. That means an active shooter could happen at any time and any place. A-SHIELD is a company comprised of combat veterans from the U.S. Special Operations community whose goal is to drastically improve the emergency management market through our lessons learned in combat. Our answer is the patented Incident Monitoring and Response System (IMRS). IMRS will provide optimal situational awareness to emergency responders during active shooter situations and decrease response time.
Once the first active shooter report is received by the local 911 center, IMRS goes into action.
The heat map constantly updates and shows the most recent active shooter activity in bright red until the situation is resolved
About
A-SHIELD was created in 2016 by U.S. Army Special Forces Veterans (Green Berets) to advance how active shooter crises are handled by the local 911 Centers through our patented technology the Incident Monitoring and Response System (U.S. Patent # 9,942,741). IMRS, pronounced immerse, allows all participants in an active shooter situation to simultaneously crowd-source communicate with 911 Centers. This process will produce an evolving heat signature map of the emergency area and provide it instantaneously to all responding law enforcement officers. Our end-state is to fully leverage situational awareness through controlled communication, aggregated single point reporting, computed analysis, and limited verbal input.
